Win: New Amsterdam Vodka

***Competition now ended. Congratulations Kate Jones***

London Cocktail Week may be coming to a close, but this is no reason for the celebrations to stop, as we’ve teamed up with New Amsterdam Spirits to give away a 70cl bottle of New Amsterdam Vodka to one lucky reader.

Vodka coming out of The Netherlands does sound interesting, however New Amsterdam isn’t in Holland, it’s actually what New York was known as before the name change in 1664. If you weren’t confused enough already, the grains used to make New Amsterdam are from Nebraska and Missouri. What’s not confusing though is the clean, neutral taste which makes New Amsterdam an excellent base for simple mixes and cocktails alike- we’ve included the recipe for the popular Amsterdam Mule, an interesting twist on the classic rum based Dark and Stormy.

Not only that, the lucky winner will also be sent two tickets to the V.I.P. launch party taking place on Wednesday 21st October in Shoreditch hotspot Cargo (More info here).
