Step on board the magnificent Silver Sturgeon to experience a unique evening of immersive glamour and opulence, in the stunning open setting of London. The SS: Atlantica Winter Voyage, will be setting sail from the Savoy Pier on Saturday 29th November 2014, and guests are invited to sail along The Thames with fur stoles on their shoulders and champagne flutes in their hands, to take in the breath-taking sights of The Big Smoke, in an evening of nostalgic delight.
This winter, the stunning 1930s themed cruise liner will transport guests back to the golden age of luxury travel, where the beautiful elite would swan on board, and leave all their worries ashore. Expect a party like no other, with live performances from London’s finest, cabaret acts, black jack tables, and of course a selection of the finest beverages, courtesy of Bourne & Hollingsworth.
Once on board, guests are transported back in time to an era of nautical extravagance and sailing splendour, when voyagers dressed in their finest silk, no matter how choppy the sea. Curving balustrades and portholes encircle a dance floor lined by tables dressed with immaculate white tablecloths. Brave the upper deck and watch the world float by whilst sipping on winter warming cocktails, try your luck at one of the Black Jack tables, or dance the night away as Big Ben strikes at midnight. SS Atlantica’s route follows the River Thames, sailing under Tower Bridge, with London’s most iconic sights lit up under the twinkling midnight sky.
Dress code is ‘At-Sea Formalwear’. Gentlemen should emulate the starched collar and immaculate dinner suit of an Agatha Christie villain and ladies can take their inspiration from the silk and fur ensembles worn by stars of the silver screen, think bias cut backless dresses and oversized jewels.Share This Post
