Richmond Food and Ale festival seek to promote a better way to eat whilst celebrating the rich food traditions of the UK and protecting our edible biodiversity. The Richmond festival rejoices in the cuisines of our multicultural nation with over 60 exhibitors selling hot and cold food, ranging from traditional artisan breads to Lebanese street food. Some of London’s most iconic street food vans will be serving up all manner of exciting dishes. As well as celebrating our multicultural heritage the Festival has scoured London’s farmers markets and brought together some of the finest small producers in a special area dedicated solely to local food heroes. Visitors not only get the opportunity to tantalise their taste buds but can also add to their repertoire of cooking skills by attending master-class cooking demonstrations from famous chefs such as Gennaro Contaldo ; famous British bake off winner Jo Wheatley; or Cyrus Todiwala O.B.E from Cafe Spice.
