Next month, Londoners are invited to learn some of the best dance moves from the 90s in a one-off dance lesson in East London. The lesson kicks off with an expert on vogueing teaching guests how to work it like Madonna.
After learning key moves like the ‘heel toe’, ‘roger rabbit’ and ‘snake’, wannabe MTV stars can learn the dance-moves from all their favourite 90s videos including: doing the running man to Vanilla Ice, doing the butterfly to TLC, head banging to the Prodigy, and of course, doing the Carlton dance.
This one-off dance nostalgia experience is part of Playback: The 90s Party, an event by Bourne & Hollingsworth taking place at The Laundry on on Saturday 4th July 2015.
Having transformed an East-end warehouse into a 1990s nightclub, complete with cocktail flare bars, podiums, a retro games room and a stage housing the finest 90s DJs, Playback will recreate the distinctive sounds, looks and tastes of the era.
At 8pm, before the party kicks off, the dance classes will begin. At an extra £5, the places will be available to ticketholders at a first come first served basis..
Contestants can sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
