Total Diet Food – Personalised Dieting to your Door

If you’re not looking to lose weight and the thought of rabbit food portions and tasteless meals is your worst nightmare, don’t let the name put you off, Total Diet Food is any foodie’s dream! Imagine having a chef not only cooking delicious meals and snacks for you every day, but also keeping track of all the nutrients and calories you put into your body to ensure you look and feel your healthiest – that’s exactly what TDF is.

It’s safe to say the capital has the best restaurant offerings in the country but we all know that although you may spend your Saturday morning doing Ashtanga yoga followed by the healthiest brunch in town, you’re also likely to visit a MaccyDs or Soho’s finest all you can eat Chinese in the early hours of the Sunday. Meaning that being the ultimate ‘fitster’ is anything but easy. With TDF however, you can get exactly what your body needs cooked daily for you and delivered to your doorstep overnight. And if you don’t like salmon or can’t stand kale that’s no problem, the menu can be adapted to your tastes and requirements for no additional cost.

Each morning by 6am you will have received a lovely picnic cooler bag with three fresh meals and two snacks that add up to your calorie allowance –  mine was 1,300 as I chose to follow the weight loss programme. All dishes I tried were incredibly tasty, well-seasoned and balanced, worthy of a fancy restaurant but without compromising on the health factor. I prefer a heavier lunch and lighter dinner so I swapped those around and only ate a snack per day as found the meals so filling!

My favourite dish was vegetarian: Grilled Halloumi Cheese with Couscous served with Cucumber, Cress, Roasted Candied Beetroot, Artichoke, Lettuce, Grilled Celeriac, with a Lemon-Dijon Mustard and Dill Dressing; definitely not your average low-cal option! I’ve got a real sweet tooth so the breakfasts like Banana and Raisin Gluten Free Oatmeal and snacks like Mixed Melon Chunks & Pumpkin Seeds totally satisfied my sugar cravings.

For obvious reasons, TDF isn’t cheap at £29.99 per day for orders of over 90 days but you can’t put a price on health and on not having to waste precious time in the kitchen if you ask me. I won’t lie, as I don’t cook, my nutrition is normally not the best but I do know exactly what to do when I want to get healthy and lose a few pounds quickly. When I diet I go all out and use supplements along the process but the offering is huge and I often get asked for recommendations so here you go…

For energy and to avoid bloating I like Lean Greens, a green superpowder with the best of grasses, algae, veggies, fruits and fat burning ingredients that tastes much better than its competitors.
