Tanqueray World Gin Day Cocktails

Just in case you didn’t know, World Gin Day takes place on Saturday 14th June and when it comes to a good G&T, Tanqueray is most definitely on our go-to list.  So we were pleased to learn that a host of London bars have come up with some limited edition Tanqueray cocktails to celebrate.

The Ishikari Fizz can be enjoyed at Worship St Whistling Shop in Shoreditch; Bee’s Knees at The Lucky Pig in Fitzrovia; and the Flash of Lightening at the Official World Gin Day party in the City of London Distillery Bar in Farringdon.  If you can’t make it down to any of the events, there is a fourth cocktail to make at home, the citrusy Bloomsbury Bronx (see recipe below).

Bloomsbury Bronx

The Bloomsbury Bronx

Ingredients: 50ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin, 10ml Maraschino, 15ml Antica Formula, 25ml Orange Juice, 2 dash Peychaud’s Bitters

Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker with cubed ice, shake and double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry on a cocktail stick.
