Martell Present La French Touch
Finesse comes as second nature to the French, it’s almost a prerequisite for every man, woman, and child to have a certain “je ne sais quoi” about them. So when world famous cognac house Martell decided to collaborate with prominent DJ and Producer Etienne de Crecy (aka Super Discount) on a limited edition bottle design, I had to sit up and take note.
La French Touch is a specially commissioned neon blue bottle of Martell’s popular VS cognac as a vivid tribute to Parisian nights. The French Touch was a party series that sprung up in Paris in the 80s and has been instrumental in pioneering the French house music scene. The bottle even glows in night venues, perfect for those sipping cognac while dancing the night away to rhythmic synths.
“For the bottle I needed a dark, deep and dense background, in order to get the neons to vibrate. The famous Martell blue seemed the obvious choice. Especially as the colour also symbolizes night time, with all its electricity and its attractions.” – Etienne de Crecy
La French Touch is the first in a series of limited edition bottle launches and as a massive Martell fan, I can’t wait for what’s in store.

50ML Martell V.S, 25ML Lillet Blanc, 5ML Benedictine, 5ML Suze, 3 dashes of Peychaud’s
Stir well and pour over cubic ice. Garnish with an orange slice and serve in a rocks glass.Share This Post
