Have a Jack Daniel’s Christmas

In my household there are three certainties at Christmas; the Turkey will be dry, the presents from Aunt Lolly will be some of Poundland’s best sellers, and my uncles will get into a heated debate about football that can only be settled by a JD and coke. This year though, things will be that little bit special as Jack Daniel’s have two new releases just in time for Christmas- No.27 Gold and Sinatra Century.

No.27 Gold has been created as a luxury sipping whisky to be enjoyed in front of the log fire (or more likely Eastenders). The name is taken from the golden contents of the bottle which has been re-barrelled in maple which they call double mellowing. In all honesty, I have no idea what double mellowed means but what I do know is that No.27 retains all the characteristics of Old No.7 with the additional benefit of being smooth enough to sip neat.

Jack Daniel’s No.27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey will be available exclusively in-store and online at Harvey Nichols from October, priced at £95.00

If No.27 isn’t flashy enough for you, how about the limited edition Sinatra Century?  To celebrate Ol’ Blue Eyes 100th birthday this month, it’s only right that his favourite tipple releases something that is as unique as the man himself. At £400 a bottle and limited to 100 barrels, make sure you keep it away from THAT Aunt.

Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Century is available at specialist retailers RRP £400.
