Go Ahead! Feel Good Extravaganza

Earlier this summer Go Ahead! teamed up with food artist Miss Cakehead to create a vibrant evening on Cannon Bridge Roof Gardens. Overlooking some of London’s best landmarks, journalists and consumers alike smashed their way through banana piñatas, squished their way, barefooted, along a grape walkway, and gobbled their way across the idyllic gardens in the sunshine.

To celebrate their research into Britain’s 50 feel good moments, go ahead! brought to life these experiences with a fruity twist, offering melon tenpin bowling, a coconut shy, a chance to make sandcastles, have your face painted and ample opportunity to eat and drink until you burst, to a glorious backdrop of St. Pauls, The Shard and Tower Bridge as the sun set.

The brand worked with Miss Cakehead to created a vast, 100 layer rainbow cake that exceeded 3.5 metres, delicious cakes shaped likes apples, cherries and strawberries (with flavours to match), a strawberry lined and scented red carpet, and of course the piece de résistance, an enormous edible art installation made from go ahead! bars with fruity toppings.

Complementing the PR campaign and recent TV ad celebrating fruity, feel-good moments, go ahead!’s Feel Good Extravaganza was an enjoyable and rare event open to pleasure seekers everywhere; journalists and consumers alike.
