Crabtree & Evelyn #HandsOnFashion Botanical Emporium

London Fashion Weeks makes me think fashion, glamour and FROW action, but also masses, mobile phones snapping away and general chaos. So when I heard that Crabtree & Evelyn had created a mini sanctuary to escape the hustle and bustle between shows, I couldn’t wait to get myself down there.

The botanical beauty brand and official skincare partner of Fashion Scout SS17 helped revitalised hundreds of tired hands from the #LFW digital overdrive. Its Botanical Emporium at Fashion Scout was a haven of tranquillity offering free hand scrubs and massages with Crabtree & Evelyn’s iconic intensive conditioning Hand Therapy creams and a fun Boomerang photobooth. I really enjoyed my treatment and I’m now obsessed with the La Source, Pomegranate, Argan & Grapeseed, and Evelyn Rose hand creams — they’re super hydrating and smell just unbelievable!

I was then lucky enough to watch the Fashion Awareness Direct show from the front row. FAD is an award winning charity offering young people the chance to get ahead with their creative careers and I was so impressed with the participating young designers’ creations. The Fashion Futures finalists were tasked with creating a look that combined the artistic heritage of the Indian sub-continent with contemporary Indian fashion and London street style, and the results were equally eclectic and beautiful. I have no doubt we’ll be seeing some of these up and coming designers showcasing their own collections in LFW in a few years.
