B and H Kitchen Cookery School, Clerkenwell

Bourne and Hollingsworth Buildings is fast becoming a community hub for Clerkenwell locals. Not only is it an excellent bar and restaurant, but the team are consistently coming up with new ideas to bring people together; from cocktail classes, to Brunch parties, and even yoga classes. Their latest venture is a cookery school to help even the most kitchen-shy to become competent chefs.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, the doors of the brand new B&H Kitchen situated above the B&H Buildings restaurant will welcome guests to learn skills such as fish filleting, sausage making, and how to cook the perfect steak. The class is overseen by Executive Chef Adam Gray or Head Chef Anthony Horn, who will expertly guide you through the stages and will even be on hand to show you the tricks of the restaurant trade.

We got a sneak preview and it really is a fine space: state of the art British Standard ovens, an impressive selection of Zwillings knifes, and a custom made Rivendale style (warning: Lord of the Rings reference) oak table situated in the middle of the room. If that’s not enough, the classes will also include food, wine and cocktail pairings!

B&H Kitchen opens Tuesday 1st March, availability and pricing will be placed on http://www.bourneandhollingsworth.com/bandbuildings/
